A day to celebrate languages and language learning.
What better way to represent Europe’s rich heritage of
languages than by encouraging people to initiate conversations
with speakers of the many different languages spoken around the
continent?
The "Talk to Me" slogan has been used for the Day of Languages since
2003 when a set of stickers in 41 official languages of the Council of
Europe's member states were first launched.

The slogan has also formed the basis of a video clip developed by the
Norwegian authorities which was played at cinemas around the country.
